Happy New Year folks! I hope you’re all hanging in there…? I feel we should be pro’s at this lockdown thing by now but they’re certainly still strange times! Maybe we should just consider it a national hibernation and get back to our lives in the Spring?

Anyway, in my semi-hibernating state I’ve had the pleasure of going through all of my sessions from 2020 and putting together my absolute favourite photo shoot outtakes from them! I always love this job and this year has been no exception.

Despite the strange circumstances last year I had the pleasure of working with some truly wonderful horses and humans and definitely felt a whole new level of appreciation for being able to leave the house and get out on some great shoots over the late Spring, Summer and Autumn!

As always, food, tongues and unwanted kisses are among the main contenders below! 😆 I always love capturing these moments on a Photo Shoot and very occasionally some of these images do end up on a wall too!

I also think the Photo Shoot outtakes show the reality of having a Photo Shoot with your horse… No horse actually stands there behaving beautifully for an entire session – trust me! However, no matter how hard your horse tries to eat everything in their path, neigh into your eardrum and to generally disrupt things, we always end up creating beautiful images and often a few funny one for the back page of a Photo Album too! Sometimes, it’s the photo shoot outtakes where the true personalities and relationships shine through… 😁
