Well the Christmas leftovers are well and truly gone and I for one am feeling somewhat recovered from the indulgences (despite still having half of Belgium to get through in Chocolate!) It is officially the 5th day of Christmas today and I am very excited to share Georgie’s fabulous horse and rider photo shoot from last summer with you on my blog today! This also means that Georgie will be receiving a little belated Christmas pressie in the form of an additional 9×6 fine art print from her shoot.

We had a fabulous afternoon for Georgie’s photo shoot last August and it was a complete pleasure to work with Georgie and her two handsome boys Diego & Buster. We were somewhat spoilt for choice with locations at Georgie’s house and the two horses both seemed to love being in front of the camera!

Buster who is still something of a youngster was in the middle of a somewhat busy day having completed a small one day event earlier that morning where as Diego, the pro of the pair was beginning to gear up for HOYS which he and Georgie had already qualified for. Both had such great personalities and were a right old pair of posers! I think they loved having the opportunity to parade around the garden and get into all sorts of spots they wouldn’t usually be allowed to!

It was a pretty perfect long, warm, sunny summer’s evening and we managed to get the absolute best of the light by beginning the shoot late in the afternoon and shooting until the last of the rays had disappeared behind the hills. This allowed for some pretty gorgeous colours and light to work with and resulted in some very special images captured of Georgie and her two boys.
