As 2023 draws to a close, I’ve been busy sorting through Photo Shoots, archiving, making sure my backups are backed up and reflecting on the year. I thought I would start with sharing some of my very favourite Spring Horse Photo Shoots from 2023 and work my way through the rest of the seasons over the next few weeks!

Spring 2023 saw me darting all around the North West on Photo Shoots. From Formby to Derbyshire, a little dip into North Wales and of course a lot of time spent in Cheshire. I even had a few shoots on my doorstep in Chester which is always a nice little bonus!

I visited some of my very favourite Photo Shoot locations such as Marbury Park and Delamere Forest. I headed to the edge of the Peak District and visited Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre as well as Grosvenor Park in Chester where Lexi the dog was slightly overcome with Squirrel anxiety!

The Spring colours didn’t fail to impress with yards full of Hawthorne blossom, buttercups and long meadowy grass towards the end of the season. The stretching days allowed for Yard Shoot days with multiple shoots at one Livery Yard and there was just one casualty of the weather when a Bluebell shoot day had to be rescheduled but luckily all Photo Shoots could be moved to alternative dates! A challenge at any time of the year with the great British weather!!
