It’s week #5 in my ‘Best of 2019’ blog series and this week it’s full of Fresian! I absolutely loved this shoot with Shelly & her gorgeous KWPN Fresian mare Jente.

Shelly was the lucky winner of my Prize Draw at the Cheshire County show last Summer and couldn’t have been a more deserving winner. I headed down to the Stoke on Trent area last July and we had a fantastic evening session capturing the very special bond between horse and rider.

Unbelievably Jente was a rescue case and it was hard to recognise her in the photos Shelly showed me of when she first got her. Jente has come so far in the short time Shelly has owned and cared for her and she really is a credit to the care and attention Shelly has put into her. Jente is clearly utterly adored and really has found her forever home.

It was such a pleasure working with these two and I hope you enjoy some of my favourite images from their shoot below.
