So my blogs are traveling me back in time to May…still… I will get there eventually! Back in May of this year I spent a lovely sunny morning with Gaynor and Lennie on a Horse & Rider Photo Shoot.
Lennie is a rather large and very handsome thoroughbred who took a little bit on convincing that I wasn’t here to separate him from all his pals for ever and ever…. After a brief 5 minutes in the field with him and Gaynor it was decided that Harvey the Shetland would have to accompany us on the shoot as a little pal for Lennie! As soon as Harvey’s presence was realised Lennie settled into the shoot and decided he actually rather liked this photo shoot lark!
In the scheme of things Lennie hasn’t been with Gaynor for all that long and their relationship is still growing as they get to know each other better and develop as a team. We had such a fabulous morning for their shoot with not only 1 but 2 castles looming in the background over us and a really lovely lane and fields to work with.
Harvey was an absolute star and he behaved impeccably although I do think he thought all his Christmases had come at once as he was being led around the lushest of fields without his usual grass muzzle….! If Shetland heaven is a thing he definitely found it that day! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Gaynor and Lennie and I think they have a fantastic future ahead of them!
