Back in February I headed down to Stoke-on-Trent to visit Samantha Bloor Dressage, one of my 2024 Brand Ambassadors for a Photo/Video Shoot! The weather on the day was not ‘perfect’ but as seems to be the case this year, if you’re waiting for the perfect day you might never get out so we decided to go for it! Sam might be a familiar face to those of you who have followed my work for a little while. She is the cover star of my website and has been featured on my trade stand for several years after a fantastic shoot with her back in 2019. When she applied to be my brand ambassador I was delighted! You might also know her as a dedicated and wonderful rider on the Dressage scene where she rides and trains many horses and riders in Cheshire and around the North West.

Sam now has a fantastic set up on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent and it was great to meet the updated herd of Horses and of course see Al Sheppo the resident yard sheep again! 🐑

We were lucky with a 1 hour and 20 minute break in the weather and I tested my multi-tasking skills with a combination of Still photography, Video and Drone flying! The drone is a new addition to the kit bag so it’s still early days in terms of flying it with horses but I was delighted that Spice who is only 6 and a little on the sharp side didn’t bat an eyelid at it. I’m very excited about some upcoming shoots with this!

I hope you enjoy the selection of photos and the video from my shoot with Samantha Bloor Dressage below. I’m really looking forward to my Summer shoots with Sam & her gorgeous collection of horses and sheep!

I do also have a Mini Shoot Day coming up at Sam’s yard with 2 places left (at point of publication). To find out more head HERE or get in touch for more info.

If you’re a rider, trainer or equine professional and fancy a relaxed, behind the scenes shoot like this please do not hesitate to get in touch for a chat. 😀
