FAMILY & ANIMALS YARD SHOOT
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Karen, Karris, Courtney & Ken over the Summer on their very own family and animals Yard Shoot Day on the Wirral.
We had the most glorious Summer’s morning for the shoots with some nice early morning light and long meadowy fields which made for gorgeous back drops and of course some excellent snacking for the horses! 😅 What’s a horse Photo Shoot without a mouth full or two grabbed along the way?!!

At the beginning of October I had the pleasure of heading to Arley Hall Equestrian Centre to photograph this gorgeous pair. Beth & Lexi were both an absolute delight to work with and I love these images in particular from their session. With moody skies, the best Autumn light and a lovely array of Autumnal outfits I think these two absolutely aced their photo shoot. 🥰

A few of my favourite photos from my recent Autumn

A few of my favourite photos from my recent Autumn Photo Shoot with Milly-Jo & Smokey Joe!🍁 We were also joined briefly by the rest of Milly-Jo’s family and their 2 doggies! 🐾
I always like to ask my clients if there are any particular images or moments they would like me to capture and on this particular shoot it was Smokey Joe throwing some shapes as Milly-Jo laughed and held on tight! My heart was in my mouth as I would always air on the side of ‘if your horse is a little on its toes let’s calm him down’ not let’s do exactly what will wind him up! 🙈 However these memories were deemed among the most important and so of course I obliged. Thankfully it all went well and both Milly-Jo and Smokey Joe were beaming from ear to ear after their little airs above the ground moment!
I absolutely love the family shot as well. Smokey Joe wasn’t even really supposed to be in it but he’d been let loose by this stage but he wandered into the background, slotted himself into the best spot and posed beautifully. No complaints here! 😆
