As I stretch my mind back to the balmy days of Summer 2023 for the next installment of my Horse Photo Shoots through the Seasons blog I am reminded of the longer, warmer days to come this year. It is the most delightful season to think back to during the colder darker months of January and brings me hope that the days will soon be stretching and warming as we inch towards the Summer months.

Below are some of my favourite images from the months of June, July & August 2023. They include images from Standard & Deluxe Photo Shoots as well as a couple of Yard Shoot days and Family & Animal Photo Sessions. From adorable foals to acrobatic vaulting they sure were a varied set of Photo Shoots and saw me darting all around Cheshire, North Wales and the Wirral as well as a little trip down to Gloucestershire and across the pond to counties Cork and Waterford in Ireland.

It’s that time of the year when thoughts of Summer may feel elusive and we’ve all but forgotten the warm breezes and meadowy grasses but fear not, it will be back!
