The Portrait Shoot of the Year 2018 // Emma with Coco & Jessie

After a couple of failed attempts (thanks to the weather!) I finally made it up to Preston at the end of last Summer to work with the gorgeous Emma and her two horses Coco and Jessie. It was a very good thing too that we held out for the right day as this shoot recently went on to claim ‘The Portrait Shoot of the Year 2018’ title!

Accompanying me on this shoot was the wonderful makeup artist and hair stylist Joey who worked with me on a number of occasions last Summer. She is such a great addition to any shoot and I left Emma in her capable hands while I headed to the yard to scout out the best spots and meet the horses.

Emma started out in a great casual outfit before having a outfit and hair change thanks again to Joey and rocked a stunning blue number with a flower crown for her second look.

Coco and Jessie were such a great pair to work with and both behaved themselves pretty well for the most part! Jessie, who was still quite new to Emma at the time did get a little bit excitable as the session progressed but we still got some gorgeous shots and finished off the session focusing on Coco who has been a horse of a lifetime for Emma.
